The Real Blogger Status

I can't believe it! This is fabulous. I have been having problems for months with the powers that be behind Blogger and "View Blog". It kept pointing back to the old blogspot address and not to where TheSpiritMovedMe.com lives now. Every time I fiddled with the template or posted something new and wanted to have a look I'd have to open a new window and click on my bookmark for the site. It was really getting frustrating. I posted the question to the Blogger Help Group and would occasionally go back to see if anybody had an answer for me because Blogger sure didn't. In fact, I don't think they want to talk to people anymore. But, I just fixed it and it wasn't that bad at all. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! The Real Blogger Status solved all.

Confessions of a Pioneer Woman

Yesterday I was flipping around with the remote and happened upon a sort of internet news show. They were talking about a blog that is hugely personal, extremely interesting and so far out in the country the nearest store is 25 miles away. I’ve added Confessions of a Pioneer Woman to my blog roll and invite you to have a visit to Ree's blog. Right now I am riveted by her photography. This lady is a must read. Enjoy.

Where The Psychic Vents

I've been playing around with my other blog, Where The Psychic Vents. Haven't actually posted much in the last week or so to any of my blogs. Busy times. Back hurts too. Blame the dentist for that one. Next time, laughing gas for me for sure.

Trudge...Trudge...Trudge...

This rebuilding of blog has hit another wrinkle. I tested it on two different computers at work today only to discover that although one computer was fine with it the other froze up horribly. What was it? Well, logically I should go back to the last newest thing I put on. It’s either going to be the technorati widget that says how much the blog is worth or the drop down for the archives. I vote for the technorati widget. So, I just took that off. Will test again tomorrow and see if it’s any better. Ding donged, but this is slow.

Rebuilding - From the Ground Up

Well, I’m making progress on putting the blog back together again. Last night I put my blogroll back on. I really like adding just a tiny snippet of code and have everybody already in place. There was no typing in each link one by one. So, that was a large part of it. I also put one of the last little do-hickies on from Technorati about how much the blog was worth. Who knew it was up there in the $9,000 range. I thought that was cool. I’ve never paid $9,000 for anything, car, refrigerator or computer, and to think that my blog is worth that much. Anyway, I thought it was pretty cool. I do spend a lot of time on it. Maybe it paid off.

I also got DeeDude’s books back up and my own, “Spirit Whispers” from LuLu.com. Got my buttons back up and the biggest thing of all, the thing I’d been wanting to do forever and just couldn’t figure out how to do it was to arrange all the archives into a drop down list with newest showing first, a reverse order sort of deal.

Slowly I’m building it back up again.

Blogging Me Down

With all the different blogs I’ve got I suppose depending on what I’m doing or thinking about doing I could also have an appropriate blog to record my thoughts. This is for all the filing I don’t do around me. Must seek organization somewhere. Or, at least start somewhere.

So, for beading I’ve got my beading blog. For bad moods I’ve got The Psychic Vents. For uplifting moments this one. Or, odd moments. For when I’m into a teaching mode Learn to Channel. For when I’m trying to learn some Spanish, Learn Spanish With Me. For the times I’m reading Where I Read Books is good.

What’s missing? A cleaning blog. This house needs it. A filing or organizing blog. Again with the house. I could stand to lose some weight so a dieting blog might be appropriate…or, maybe just an exercise blog. What else? I’ve been wanting to learn better how to read the Tarot. I could branch out that way. There are any number of blogs I could turn my hand too. Hands. Will be busier if I do this. Just a thought.

Stuff

I applied at PayPerPost for another of my blogs, Where The Psychic Vents. Unfortunately, I did not meet their criteria of having a minimum of 20 posts in 90 days. So, I’m busy making posts over there. Originally, I’d created the blog as a place where I could go kick the kitchen cabinets when I didn’t feel like acting civilized, but it’s sort of evolving into a blog where I am just really letting my hair down.

On another note, I’m reading a book called, “Blessings” by Anna Quindlen. I’m closing in on the end and I’ve got to say that this is going to rank up there with some of the better books I’ve read lately. When I’m finished I’ll do a review of the book at my other blog, Where I Read Books. Dang, but this is a terrific book.
